Song of Surrender (to my old and future students)

Be a lover of books but talk to people as well about them. Make friends, start amongst yourselves - but don't stop there. Take your books to places; to strangers, to cafes. Strike interesting conversations. Be interesting.

Sometimes it's okay to just have a conversation starter, and talk about the weather. It initiates discussion and helps in communication (101).

Be bold and assertive when demanding your rights, but be poetic and calm whilst listening to others demand theirs. Communication is mutual understanding.

Love? - well, why not? Friendship? - what else is there to live for? But remember to expand your social circles, don't want to become an extinct cocoon.

What I'd wish for most of all? For my wings to develop as anaconda eyes and take me to the top of the world. What I desire? Freedom from it all. Why I desire it? - because yellow flowers bloom late in the night of Joycean

surrender - this is the only - the fatalistic, the divine, the devastating and the uplifting surrender - surrender to ART. The higher claim is in the valleys of literature and art.

Come, dive into the ocean, but keep the life-vest of literature, creativity and art alongside.
